The sixth custodial death of the year 1997 is an improbable story of suicide again. Booked for a seemingly petty offence at Old Delhi Railway Station Police Station, why would Ramesh, who according to the police is a bad character, commit suicide within a matter of half an hour? Or do these stories of suicides provide an easy alibi for not registering FIRs and for shielding the guilty?
